The video for Adam Lanceley's new song A Film We All Saw was filmed in the streets, riverbanks and beauty spots of the city.

Adam, 34, has made overcoming adversity a lifelong habit. A serious car accident with a speeding driver as a child left him with brain damage, a crushed pelvis and shattered legs.

Doctors told him at 10 that he was unlikely to ever walk or talk again but today Adam defies all odds, running marathons, actively pursuing his singing career and continuing to silence the doubters.

His very first music video highlights this defiance, showing the confident musician walking around Cambridge, highlighting what self-belief and determination can achieve.

Putney-based Adam explained how the video ended up being shot in Cambridge. “The PR agency that I’m with, Quite Great, are in Grantchester and they said: ‘If you can come up here, we’ll have a much better idea of what to film and how to make the video look good. We know the area and know the best places to film and how to storyboard it better.’”

Adam, who had been to Cambridge prior to making the video in September, said: “I just thought what a nice, picturesque place it was. It was so different to London.”

He added: “It was all day and it was really tiring, but it was a good experience.”
