Singer-songwriter Fini Bearman to showcase songs from new album at Hot Numbers in Cambridge
Fini Bearman, a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in London, will be performing at Hot Numbers in Gwydir Street, Cambridge, this Thursday (15 May).
Fini’s Last Night of the World tour is promoting her fifth studio album of the same name, which was released last month.
Last Night of the World has been described as “an eclectic suite of jazz/folk/pop-infused songs which draws on experiences of motherhood, of love and loss, and of a new-found sense of meaning (or sometimes an existential lack thereof!)”.
Jazzwise hailed it as “an exceptional, unforgettable and profoundly beautiful collection of songs” in a four-star review, and Jamie Callum also gave it a plug on his BBC Radio 2 show.
Saxophonist and rapper Soweto Kinch has been showing it support too.
Fini Bearman will be performing as a duo, with pianist Tom Cawley (Peter Gabriel, U2), at Hot Numbers in Cambridge this Thursday (15 May) at 6pm.
Tickets, priced £12.50, are available from eventbrite.co.uk/e/fini-bearman-duo-tickets-1333668802289. For more on Fini, go to creativebeans.uk.
