Over his career, James has collaborated with the likes of Anne-Marie, Sigala, Rudimental, Marshmello and many more. He also has more than 37 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone.

2016’s Say You Won't Let Go became his breakthrough hit in the US and was officially the UK’s most streamed song of the year, going on to be enjoyed via more than four billion streams.

Other hit singles include Impossible, Can I Be Him, Sun Comes Up, Naked, Empty Space, Rewrite the Stars, Falling Like the Stars, Train Wreck and Lasting Lover. His fifth studio album Bitter Sweet Love will be out on January 26, 2024.

Sophie Able, general manager of Newmarket Racecourses, said: “Having played a brilliant show at Newmarket Nights back in 2014, we’re excited to be welcoming James Arthur and his fantastic live show to the racecourse again next year.

“2024 is shaping up to be our best year yet and we can’t wait to reveal who else we have in store for next summer…”

James Arthur said: “Playing live is one of my absolute favourite things to do, and it’s made even better when it’s outdoor shows in the summer evenings.

“I had an amazing time at Newmarket Nights 10 years ago and can’t wait to see you all on Friday, August 2nd.”
