Still time to enter the Northstowe Half Marathon and Be Prepared 5k

There is still time to enter the Northstowe Half Marathon and Be Prepared 5k, which this year will support the 1st Northstowe Scouts group, hence the name ‘Be Prepared 5k’.

Anyone wishing to participate in the event, which takes place this Sunday (April 23), has until tomorrow (Wednesday, April 19) to enter online.

After raising £1,872 to support children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing with the Fullscope 5k race in 2022 - the first Northstowe 5k event - the founder and managing director of

Northstowe Running Festival Events Ltd, Marcin Lis, and his team of organisers are pleased to be raising money for the scout group.

All profits from the Be Prepared 5k will be donated to 1st Northstowe Scouts, which will hopefully allow the group to invest in the equipment they need to keep growing and go on more adventures.
