Cambridge’s longest-running charitable relay race – organised by HCR Hewitsons Charitable Trust – takes place on Sunday, September 19.

To enter a team, visit chariots-offire.co.uk/enter-a-team. Funds raised through this year’s Chariots of Fire race are going to the official charity partner, East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA), to help them expand their vital CPR training programme in the region and save more lives.

With a target of £97,500 to support a three-year project, EAAA is passionate about teaching more people in Cambridgeshire how to deliver life-saving bystander CPR.

The race starts and ends on Queens’ Green. Each of the six runners per team will follow a picturesque, 1.7-mile route through some of the historic city centre and two University of Cambridge colleges, over the Cam and along the Backs, before passing on the baton to the next runner at Queens’ Green.
