Tiff Stevenson to headline Anglia Comedy night in Ely

The Best in Comedy, a popular comedy night put on at different venues around the region, returns to The Maltings in Ely next week with a line-up comprising Tiff Stevenson, Dane Baptiste, Jack Barry and Andy Field.

Tiff Stevenson is an award-winning stand-up comedian, actor and writer, whose thought-provoking comedy and satire has played to audiences worldwide.

As an actress she has appeared in ground-breaking television programmes such as The Office and White Gold, and as a TV personality Tiff has been a regular on shows such as Mock the Week, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Russell Howard’s Good News.

Original and provocative, Dane Baptiste is hailed as one of the most exciting acts to break in years. His extensive TV credits include Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, The Stand Up Sketch Show and Roast Battle.

Jack Barry is a comedy actor and stand-up who can be seen in Mae Martin and Joe Hampson’s comedy drama Feel Good on Netflix, and on Rose Matafeo’s Starstruck (BBC/HBO).

Writer and star of his own Radio 1 series, Andy Field has made an impact on the comedy scene with his silly style and refreshing approach to traditional stand up.

His TV appearances include BBC Presents: Stand Up for Live Comedy and Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled.
