Troy Redfern brings Invocation tour to town

Acclaimed British slide guitarist and singer-songwriter Troy Redfern has embarked on his 11-date Invocation headline UK tour.

The tour will showcase tracks from his latest album, Invocation, which was released in May, plus songs from his extensive back catalogue.

Troy says: “The new songs embrace more of the rockier elements of my writing and playing. I’ve also given myself the creative freedom to explore and feel out other styles or aspects of my writing that have not been heard on any of my other albums.

“As an artist, I feel it’s important to keep pushing and striving to refine your art, while staying true to your vision.

“It is important to know who you are as an artist, and on my recent singles, The Strange and Getaway, and the album, I think I have finally perfected my own signature sound.”

In 2023, Troy performed at numerous festivals including Steelhouse, Maid of Stone, and Planet Rockstock. He will play the Cambridge Junction (J2) on Monday (24 June).
