Win tickets to a cooking masterclass and £200 voucher for Mark Poynton’s restaurants
Award-winning housebuilder The Hill Group and renowned chef Mark Poynton have joined forces for an exciting new competition with the Cambridge Independent.
The Hill Cooking Masterclass, where Mark will cook a dish from his cookbook, It’s Just Food, will take place on Saturday, 8 February, from 12-2pm. You can win two tickets to the masterclass – and a £200 voucher to be used at one of Mark’s restaurants.
Held in the show home at Hill’s Farehurst Park in Fulbourn, the cooking masterclass will take place in an open-plan kitchen and dining space, where Mark will prepare and cook one of his signature dishes for guests to enjoy.
He will also share tips to support guests in levelling up their own cheffing skills.
Mark has spent the past few years making a name for himself in East Anglia. He launched his restaurant, MJP@The Shepherds in Fen Ditton, while the UK was in lockdown during the Covid-19 pandemic.
He is also the driving force behind the popular Caistor Hall restaurant in Caistor St Edmund, garnering praise in the latest Michelin Guide for the complexity of his cooking and the “technically adept elements” underlying his dishes.
Published in 2021, It’s Just Food tells Mark’s remarkable story and shares recipes for home cooks to recreate.
At Farehurst Park, where the Hill Cooking Masterclass with Mark Poynton will take place, buyers can discover a new collection of family homes from two to five bedrooms.
Just four miles from Cambridge city centre, the homes are set within seven acres of public open space in Fulbourn.
Select homes are currently offering incentives that can save buyers tens of thousands of pounds when they choose to make Farehurst Park their home.
