Winners of annual Cambridge Invitational Art Contest announced
The 12 winning artists in the third Cambridge Invitational Art Contest, organised by Galeria Moderna, have been announced.
The winning artworks will be on display – and for sale – at the Castle Fine Art Cambridge gallery, upstairs in the Grand Arcade, from August 15-21.
The 12 wining artists, in no particular order, are Dave Pinsker, Irina Hoble, Peter Partner, Jenny Ebdy, Sue Walker, Radek Walachnia, Rikki Morgan-Tamosunas, Lisa Zaman, Galina Holley, Teresa Munn, Dario Cavicchioni, and Martin Southwood.
Twenty per cent from the sale of each of the artworks will go to the competition’s two beneficiary charities, which are Arts 4 Dementia and Cambridgeshire charity, Arts and Minds.
Stacy Bodkin, gallery manager at Castle Fine Art Cambridge, said: “It was an absolute pleasure to host the Cambridge Invitational Art competition 2019 and 2021; the joy on the winners’ faces and the opportunities that arise even after the exhibition make this competition very special.”
