Winners of Rotary Club of Cambridge’s Young Photographer Competition 2023-24 revealed
The winners of the Rotary Club of Cambridge’s Young Photographer Competition for 2023-24 can now be revealed.
Under the theme of ‘rebuilding’, photographers in three age groups submitted their images for judging.
The Rotary Club teamed up with Cambridge Camera Club and the Cambridge Independent for the competition, with our picture editor Keith Heppell among those judging the winners.
John Barrett, from the Rotary Club, said: “The Rotary Club of Cambridge is delighted to have the partnership of Cambridge Camera Club and the Cambridge Independent in promoting the Rotary Young Photographer competition.
“We are always thrilled at the creativity and skill of even our youngest entrants. This is a national competition, and the photos of our three winners, Dan, Horatio and Jamie, now go through to the East Anglia District final. We congratulate them and have high hopes for further success.”
In the past, winners of this competition have gone all the way to the national finals and tasted victory.
The presentation of prizes and certificates will be at Campkins Cameras in King’s Parade at 10am on 9 March. Prizes have been kindly donated by Campkins.
