‘World’s Greatest Stage Musicals in Cinema’ coming to various Cambridge cinemas in autumn 2024




The World’s Greatest Stage Musicals in Cinema is coming to more than 350 cinemas across the UK this autumn.

These will include Arts Picturehouse Cambridge, The Light Cinema Cambridge, and Vue Cambridge. The full listings can be found at bigscreenmusicals.com.

The autumn season includes three celebrated theatre performances – Miss Saigon: 25th Anniversary (2016) from London’s Prince Edward Theatre, the 25th anniversary spectacular of the worldwide phenomenon The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall (2011), and Girl from the North Country, the lauded musical that combines the music of Bob Dylan with a compelling human story. This production comes from The Belasco Theatre in New York.

The World’s Greatest Stage Musicals in Cinema will be in HD on the big screen, experienced with epic state-of-the-art sound.

Another season will also follow in spring, with the full performances TBA. The dates for the autumn showings are as follows:

Miss Saigon: 25th Anniversary (2016) – Sunday, 22 September + Tuesday, 24 September

The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall (2011) – Sunday, 3 November + Tuesday, 5 November

Girl from the North Country – Thursday, 21 November + Sunday, 24 November.
