GCSE results day 2022: Coleridge Community College
Ambition, determination and enthusiasm was shown by students at Coleridge Community College celebrating their GCSE results today (Thursday).
Among those celebrating today are Jet Moore, who achieved eight grade 9s and a grade 8, and Rosie Youngs, who also achieved eight grade 9s and a grade 8.
Other high achievers include Lilly Kent-Taylor, who achieved eight grade 9s, a grade 7 and an A in additional maths, Alice McNaughton-Scally, who achieved six grade 9s, two grade 8s, one grade 7 and an A in additional maths, Lola Hooper, who achieved six grade 9s, four grade 8s and a grade 6, and Riccarda Calcchio, who achieved six grade 9s, two grade 8s and two grade 7s.
Interim principal Richard Shaw said: “It is always a pleasure to see students’ efforts rewarded as they receive their GCSE results. As staff, we all share in our Year 11s’ happiness and pride today as they celebrate their achievements during their time with us and look ahead to their next steps in education and life.
“This group of students has shown ambition, determination and enthusiasm and we know these attributes – alongside this strong set of GCSE qualifications – will prepare them well as they progress onto sixth form and further study. We wish them the very best as they do so and look forward to following their successes over the years ahead.”
